Lucas Oliveira (1991) first graduated in advertising and marketing at ESPM / RS (2012) after that he moved to New York / NY to study and degree in digital cinema at Digital Film Academy (2014). He had several films selected by Vimeo Staff Pick (2015/2016/2017) and some of his documentaries were selected for the National Geographic’s showcase. Lucas achieved many awards in his career like e Exceptional Cinematography Prize of the AOC London Awards, and the Cinematography Gran Prix (2025) at Clio Awards for the videoclip “Meu Karma” which was also shortlisted in many festivals like the Latin Grammy (2025), Ciclope International and Latino, El Ojo, 1.4, Shots, Berlin Commercial and Cannes (2025). Another achievements worth to be noticed are the Gran Prix at the Cannes Lions (2019) with “Bluesman” for best music video and silver for best film at El Ojo de Iberoamérica festival (2020) with the documentary “Rainha Marta”. Lucas feels that he was lucky enough to have encountered with open hearted and creative people along the way that let him express trough their ideas and projects, being inspired by the world he can touch and the invisible things we cannot see.
